1. Our Core Beliefs

We believe that achieving a balance between work and play is essential for all children. In our opinion, this balance is unattainable with a traditional five-day school week and afternoon homework.

We strongly believe that the family unit, instituted by God, should be nurtured. To this end, we provide our students with the opportunity to spend quality time with their families. Our academic program consists of three 'core' days at A⁺ Academy and two 'satellite' days spent at home or at A⁺Academy.

Children require meaningful time to engage in sports, cultural activities, and other family pursuits, such as baking, biking, building and climbing Tree houses. Notably, our students do not receive afternoon homework.

For families requiring a five-day-a-week option, we accommodate students on their 'satellite days' at A⁺ Academy from Grade 4 to 12 (AS).

A⁺ Academy's ethos is founded on a Christian Biblical principle, which underpins our methodology. Our teaching style and culture are motivated by 1 Corinthians 13:4-8:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.
